It may be too late!  This is the dryest year so far since the 1920s!

If you see a tree, climber, tree pit, raised bed or container near you that looks as if it is not being watered regularly, please would you help out here.

Position: In front of Bonnington Square Pleasure Garden adjacent to 14 Bonnington Square
Planted: 1997
Also known as Mimosa or Wattle, this evergreen half-hardy native of the eastern states of Australia is fast-growing but not very long-lived.  A legume, in the wild Acacias act as nursery trees after bush fires where their roots cleverly fix [...]

Position: End of Rosewood House in Vauxhall Grove
Planted: 1995
History: The only survivor of 5 specimens planted in Vauxhall Grove/Bonnington Sq at the same time in the mid nineties. One was stolen, two blew over, the other transplanted to the other end of Rosewood House. One of now three Arbutus species [...]
