Outside consultancy appointed to undertake parking review

Following Viva Vauxhall’s meeting with Lambeth Council Transport & Highways department on 20 November, things are really starting to happen and an outside consultancy, Project Centre, www.projectcentre.co.uk has won the contract to conduct the parking review, which will take in Bonnington Square, Lawn Lane, Langley Lane and Vauxhall Grove.

Car Clubs

There are now two local car club locations.  A bay for two cars in Langley Lane and run by Streetcar, another in Lawn Lane (where it meets South Lambeth Road) and operated by City Car Club.
Both locations currently have one car parked there and Streetcar intends to put the second car in Lawn Lane soon [...]

Encouraging news on Parking Review

Cllr Rob Banks (Lib Dem) and Viva Vauxhall (VV) had a meeting with Lambeth Council Transport & Highways (T&H) on Friday 20 November to re-kick-start the much promised Parking Review and we came away encouraged by what is now being proposed:

Car Club coming to Langley Lane

The allocated car spaces are there already and the cars will presumably follow sometime.
Local residents who objected to losing parking spaces to Car Club bays have received a letter from Lambeth Council which says:
