Vauxhall, Nine Elms and Battersea (VNEB) Opportunity Area Planning Framework

by VivaVauxhall - February 4th, 2010.

Lurking behind that really boring title are the Greater London Authority’s (GLA) plans to RADICALLY transform the Vauxhall, Nine Elms and Battersea landscape.

The meeting/presentation held a little while ago is being repeated–  and only because so many people didn’t know about the previous one and don’t have any idea of the enormity of what the Mayor’s Office is planning to do.

The presentation enables you to see and ‘fly over’ the intended ‘cluster of tall buildings’ for Vauxhall and it’s useful to see how this fits in with the ‘grand plan’.  The improvements needed to the transport infrastructure are also discussed.

Viva Vauxhall attended the previous meeting and can only recommend you to go.  It’s a really interesting presentation, and if last time is anything to go by, it will be followed by a really lively question and answer session.

Wednesday, 10 February, 7pm start
St Peter’s Church
310 Kennington Lane
