Vauxhall, Nine Elms and Battersea (VNEB) Opportunity Area Planning Framework

This is from our friends at Kennington, Oval and Vauxhall (KOV) Forum:

“Dear all

Thank you to everyone who attended last week’s meeting regarding the Vauxhall, Nine Elms and Battersea Opportunity Area Planning Framework in Montgomery Hall.   The notes will be uploaded to our website (www.kovforum.org.uk) (Meetings page) as soon as they are ready.

I can now confirm that the GLA (Greater London Authority)’s website http://www.london.gov.uk/mayor/planning/oapf-nine-elms/index.jsp has been updated with the newly extended deadline for your comments: 5.00 pm on 28 February 2010.  That link to the GLA’s website also contains the link to download the draft document.   I have forwarded to the GLA details of those of you who requested hard copies of the documents.

The next public meeting being hosted by KOV Forum about this framework will be:

7.00 pm on 10 February 2010
at Vauxhall St Peters Church,
310 Kennington Lane, (corner of Tyers St).
SE11 5HY

Everyone is welcome, tea and coffee will be available from 6.30 pm.”

The reason that the deadline for comments has been extended and a new meeting arranged is because so many people didn’t know anything about the consultation process or that there was a meeting.

KOV are still working out the detail of the agenda which will be circulated as soon as it has been approved.  It’s expected again that the GLA will do a presentation.

Please spread the word.
