Violent mugging in Vauxhall Grove

A resident was mugged last night around 11pm in Vauxhall Grove. Violence was used and police are aware.  Please take care.

When Oval Ward Lib Dem Councillors met recently with planning officers, issues raised included:

impact on neighbouring low-rise streets like Bonnington Square, Langley Lane and Vauxhall Grove;
parking pressure locally, especially in Bonnington Square, Langley Lane and Vauxhall Grove;
lack of public open space around the building;
seemingly low proportion of social rented and affordable shared ownership (30%).

They (and their technical advisors) have held meetings with surrounding residents to assess accurately the daylight position;
revised the scheme in detail to reflect comments received, results from analysis and further due diligence;
submitted to Lambeth ‘pre-application’ documents;
