HRH Clubs, owners of FIRE night club, have submitted a Variation Application to their Premises Licence to Lambeth Council. The idea is to extend into adjacent arches which FIRE also lease and run a club called ‘Lightbox’, aimed at attracting a ’straight’ clientele (in contrast to FIRE which is essentially a ‘gay’ club).
We understand that this expansion will increase the capacity by an extra 350 clubbers and that it is intended only to use the entrance in South Lambeth Place (small metal gate next to Starbucks).
Viva Vauxhall is considering whether to recommend opposing this expansion and is currently requesting additional information from FIRE as well as getting local feedback.
